JAY BULLUCK - PROPRIETOR

JAY leads with over 20 years of experience in North America. Coming from the apparel industry, he started with a foundation in color theory, cuts, and the dyeing/finishing of natural fibers. It was a smooth transition from fashion to hair design. After touring the US as an artist and educator, he committed to a base in Greensboro, NC. He commuted monthly to Brooklyn, NY, as a guest artist at the über-hip Woodley and Bunny. After several seasons of NY Fashion Week, Jay and his team have more combined editorial and runway hair experience than anyone in the Triad. Local Honey has repeatedly been voted BEST HAIR SALON and BEST BARBER SHOP in Triad reader polls, and is a Top 200 Salon in the US (Salon Today magazine). When he’s not at Local Honey, he can be found racing cars and motorcycles or spending time with his tiny pooch, Pixie.
